It’s nice to meet you
Hi, my name is Caitlynn; I currently reside in my hometown of Wilmington, NC. I am a graphic design student turned ceramicist and couldn’t be happier with where I have landed.
I have always been an incredibly expressive person and enjoyed the weirder side of life ~ I love to make statements in my every day attire, makeup and being and wanted to channel this into something outside of my physical appearance.
Pottery quickly became that for me - a way to express myself without limitations - to play in mud like I was a kid again; and while the creative process can be difficult, I love the ebbs and flows that come with it.
Mačka Craft was born out of my desire to do more; birthed from my Bohemian heritage and my love for cats. Mačka translates to a wide variety of things in the old language, but most commonly refers to female cats and witches.
I am an animal lover and self-proclaimed cat whisperer, with four cats - Mo, Tesla, Edison and Smudge - and two dogs - Lupin and Dickie. I have no clue what the spiritual world holds; but I do believe that the universe works in mysterious ways, that the planets placements affect our bodies, and that there’s a little witch in all of us.
